Over 28 years of experience in Family Medicine, Dr Chavez specializes in family medicine, non operative orthopedics and minor outpatient surgery. Vanessas career spans over 6 years, having experience in the progressive care, cardiac and pediatric units including motherbaby. Vanessa has over 3 years of practice experience, having worked at an immediate care center for 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner. During this time, she maintained her academic interests by teaching classes, clinicals, and laboratory at both Resurrection University and Triton College.
With 17 years in healthcare, she has gained experience in providing compassionate care as a nursing assistant for 2 years and an RN for 17 years having worked in the Neuroscience, Hospice and Postpartum care. She enjoys providing reliable comprehensive care, disease and illness prevention and patient education to diverse populations. Elizabeth believes that excellent continued communication will help create solid working relationships and improved patient care.
Cathleen has additional certifications as a 200-hour Yoga teacher, advanced Craniosacral therapy and Visceral Manipulation from the Upledger Institute and over 160 hours of training in Myofascial Release with John Barnes. Cathleen is passionate about helping patients reach their optimal level of health and happiness by a combination of balancing the fascial restrictions and optimizing the effects of the lymphatic system.
